Eric Blais
Skatepark Administrator
The passion of skateboarding embodied
If one word could describe Éric Blais, it would undoubtedly be: passion. A skateboarding enthusiast since 1989, he dedicates his life to the sport. After more than three decades in the industry, his expertise is now recognized internationally. Since opening his first specialty store and building his first skatepark in 1991, Éric has become a cornerstone of skateboarding's development, in the truest sense of the word. His career has led him to collaborate with the biggest companies in the industry. A consultant for major brands, he participates in the development of municipal skateparks as well as world championship courses, where he also acts as a judge. Owners, athletes, and representatives of skateboarding's leading figures seek his wise and honest advice. His motivation remains as strong as it was on his very first day on a board. Éric also owns and operates a skateboard training center on Montreal's South Shore. Every day, he passes on his expertise to the next generation. His advice and expertise make him an essential reference in a rapidly expanding field.

Stéphane Vallée
Skatepark Owner
Training the athletes of tomorrow
Skateboarding is now a sport represented in the Olympics. To get there, it has taken several steps, including gaining acceptance among the general population, who for a long time believed that this discipline was practiced only by bums.
The term "athletes" is now used to define these skateboarding enthusiasts. To create these future athletes, we need people capable of training and coaching the next generation of skateboarders. This is what Stéphane has been doing for over 20 years. A skateboarder since 1993, with a degree in physical education and health from UQAM, he teaches the sport to all levels of participants. Whether it's high school sports-study programs, elementary and secondary sports concentrations, specialized summer camps, or competition preparation at all levels, he knows how to bring skateboarders to their full potential. By working with all spheres of Canadian skateboarding—federations, school boards, the Ministry of Sports, etc.—he has made his team (SPIN skatepark) a leader in skateboarding development in Canada.
